Person Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Coram Crash

A person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle overnight Long Island crash.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Coram.

A 47-year-old Coram man was riding a bicycle northbound on West Yaphank Road, south of Beach Lane, when he was struck by a northbound 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 48-year-old woman.

The bicyclist was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Grace,
